About the Chemistry

The way that this product works is simple . . . when the NixT formula molecules and the Foul Odor Molecules touch, they interact, combine and negate each other. To ensure this happens, spray liberally and disperse effectively.

Remember that NixT does not contains heavy perfumes and masking agents and is designed to work and then dissipate. The very light “Tracer Scent” will simply fade into the background so people won’t think that you are trying to cover anything up with strong, obnoxious perfume.

The best way to defeat stink is to look at it like a Three-Part-Attack!

1st Attack: Kill the airborne and surface odor with NixT.

2nd Attack: Find the odor source and get rid of it. 

    • Get rid of the roach
    • Dump the ashtray
    • Wash your clothes, shoes, athletic gear
    • Remove the garbage
    • Pick up the gift that the dog left on the carpet
    • Change the cat litter
    • Wash the dog bed
    • Empty the diaper pail

About Cannabis & Tobacco Odors

When smoked, both tobacco and cannabis produce a myriad of chemical compounds, some of which have an extremely low threshold detection level by humans. That is why you can smell someone smoking a reefer a block away. And why you can smell it after-the-fact for days and sometimes weeks. The same thing is true with the cannabis plant!

Cigarette smoke is especially “dirty” which is why it clings to surfaces, building up a tar-like residue. It turns walls,  curtains, fingers, etc. yellow.

Cannabis smoke is also “sticky” and will tenaciously cling to objects that it touches.

Modern strains of the cannabis plant itself are very resinous with the oil being highly odiferous. The oil will penetrate your skin, and anything it touches. It’s also why your hands feel “tacky” after handling the plant and it is hard to wash off. And the smell is sometimes hard to get out in the laundry.

Also, over time . . . residual smoking odor in general will degrade and become stale and rank. That is why ashtrays STINK!

Almost all objects, even glass, are porous. Odor molecules are microscopic—they cling and penetrate soft and seemingly hard surfaces. You can clean the surface of something relatively hard (like a glass or plastic container) and after a few hours a faint scent may return because the odor molecules are migrating out of and off the surface of objects. Simply reapply NixT. Twice is usually sufficient for complete odor eradication.

Home Use

Your home is your castle . . . and no one wants a stinky castle.

The focus of NixT420 is to rid yourself and your surroundings of Cannabis & Tobacco odor. So let’s tackle that first.

Scenario: You’ve been smoking up a storm and your in-laws are on their way over and you have no time to white tornado the place.

What should you do?

To start, unless you can’t, open the windows and bring some fresh air into the house or apartment. Doing that will dilute the air and help to make your immediate objective easier.

Next, you have two immediate actions to take; (1) clean the air (scent field) and (2) find and remove the odor source if possible.

    •        Get rid of the evidence; ditch the stash, the grinder, the bong, the pipe, all the ashtrays and especially the roaches.
    • Put all that stuff away, like in another room, in the closet, and close the door. Containers and paraphernalia stink more than you realize.

Next, use NixT spray to target the soft and hard goods in the area where you were smoking: On the chair or sofa where you were sitting, lamp shades, carpet area, etc.

    •        Spray liberally up into the air in the area of contamination, wave a magazine or something to spread the micro-mist spray around.
    •       Spray and wipe objects that you handled with stinky hands.
    •        Don’t forget that if you had plant material all over a table (for example) the surface STINKS! Spray directly onto the surface and wipe it down with a micro-fiber cloth or paper towel. NixT won’t stain and will wipe off cleanly.

Next, if you have a ceiling or floor fan, USE IT. Turn ON your ceiling or floor fan and spray NixT directly into the air stream. This will disperse the NixT micromist efficiently and effectively, eliminating all airborne odor.

    • Don’t forget that YOU might stink as well! Mist yourself down or, honestly better yet . . . change your clothes.
    •       Your hair is a scent molecule magent. So, if your hair grabbed a lot of Smoke-Stink . . . just mist it lightly with NixT.  Smoke-Stink instantly gone!
    •         Pop a breath mint and you’re good to receive guests who will not have a clue that you are a smoking aficionado.

Automobile Use

Automobile - Emergency Quick De-stink

  • Obviously stop smoking and ditch the evidence outside the car or into a container.
  • First turn OFF the fan.
  • Push the button on the HVAC control section on your dash so that air will recirculate. Usually the icon shows a car with a curved arrow like this: ↪️
  • Spray NixT directly into the vent outlet on each side of the front dash. About 5 sprays if the Cannabis/Tobacco odor is strong. 
  • Next turn the fan ON medium to high and let it go . . . within a few minutes there will be no detectable smell of smoke in the car’s interior air space.
  • And as a bonus, the swirling air will pretty much de-stink you as well.

Automobile – Longer, More Complete Solution

  • If you smoke in your car all the time, then all the surfaces will be deeply imbedded with foul smelling smoke/scent particles. Over time, and especially as the sun or heater warms the car, the scent molecules will migrate out of the porous surfaces and back into the scent field. This is simple physics. That is why the car reeks every time you get in it.
  • Also, every time you get in and get out of the car you are pushing and pulling scent molecules into the seat. 
  • On a daily use basis if the scent field inside the car’s interior contains foul odors you don’t like and don’t want then simply deploy a few shots of NixT as explained.
  • THAT SAID, If you want to de-stink your car for good then CLEAN IT!
  • Have the interior of your vehicle professionally detailed. Shampoo the carpets and upholstery. Clean the headliner and wipe down all door panels and metal/plastic surfaces and glass. And don’t forget to clean the trunk!

Automobile - Ongoing Solution . . .

  • Before you light up in the car . . . turn off your fan, shoot a few sprays of NixT into the car’s dash vent. Put the fan on low to medium. Crack the window and redirect exhaled smoke to the outside.
  • When you are done, dispose of the Roach or Cigarette Butt. No ashes in the ashtray!
  • Repeat the first step by putting a couple more sprays of NixT into the dash vent and let the air recirculate for a few minutes. The smell of smoking will be removed from the car’s interior and it will not cling to you either.
  • Don’t forget to pop in a breath mint. 
  • You are stink-free and good to go.

Bathroom Use (when you are trying to be discreet)

So, you want to grab a few puffs in the bathroom before you go back to the party and don’t want to leave a stink . . . very simple.

    • Spray NixT up into the air and wave a towel or magazine briskly to disperse it. Have your cig or a few tokes on your doobie and then finish with a few sprays of NixT up into the air.
    • Flush the roach. Pop a breath mint. You are now good to go.

BONUS: NixT is an awesome organic stink destroyer so if you went to the bathroom to expel some other obnoxiousness . . .  NixT will absolutely destroy that odor as well.

    • A few shots into the bowl ahead of time or afterward or if anything escaped up into the air . . . a few shots of NixT in the air will absolutely cover your tracks.

YES, NixT works every bit as good as that “other” toilet bowl poo spray except NixT contains NO essentials oils which some people are allergic to. And it is NOT oily at all so it won’t mess up the counter or mirror or make anything slippery, or stain when you spray it all about.

We are not putting that toilet bowl spray down . . . we are just saying that NixT is just as good for that purpose and about a 100X better all-around because you can use it on ALL STINK wherever you find it!

Why buy multiple products when ONE will do?

No matter what your Stink Problem is, our motto remains, grab the NixT and “Leave No Trace”. Honestly, why would you want to?

Hotel Room — When Traveling

Before you light up in the room. Turn OFF your fan for the wall HVAC unit. Spray NixT liberally into the exhaust vent of the unit.

    • Turn the fan ON so that NixT circulates throughout the room.
    • When you smoke, if possible, exhale out a cracked window to reduce the amount of smoke in the room. Sometimes the wind won’t allow this in which case just be especially diligent with the directions above and below.
    • When you’re done smoking, flush your roach or your cigarette butt.
    • If you used a pipe, flush the ash carefully so as not to leave remnants. Spray some tissue with NixT and wipe down the pipe. Put the pipe in a sealable plastic bag and put the tissue moistened with NixT in the bag with the pipe. All the odor will be neutralized.

After you smoke . . . repeat the first step above. 

Suggestion: Put a few sprays of NixT over the bed so that the bedspread will not pick up any scent molecules.

The maid gets up close to the bedspread so that is why this step is a good idea.

Before you leave the room for the day, repeat step one.

Suggestion: Spray your pillow cases where you laid your head.

You will exhale scent molecules and they will be on your skin as well.

Before you check out, repeat step one.

If you do this correctly, you will not leave a trace of smoke smell in the room.

If this seems like a lot of work . . . hotels are now charging up to $500 dollars if you stink up the place. You decide if a few pennies of NixT and a little bit of work is worth the effort to Leave No Trace behind you.

Outdoor Use

Remember that smoke molecules are sticky, very easy to detect, and travel far.

Face away from the wind when you light up and exhale so that the smoke is not passing over your face, hair, and clothes.

When done smoking, there will be some “clingy” odor on your hair, hands and clothes. Mist yourself lightly with NixT and put a shot onto your hands and rub them together, especially the fingers that held the joint or cigarette.

The only thing left is your breath so, pop a mint! You are now stink-free and good to go.

    You just toked up a storm but, no one will know . . . and why? Because you have not left a trace. 😃
